Me being fanatical about achieving the BEST sound, I have been known to spend a lot of money (too much actually) over the years using some well known mastering houses with top engineers. I once ran a rather expensive experiment where I got the same track mastered by 3 top mastering facilities and 1 (mix D) was mastered by Andy Marlow.

I called the mixes “Mixes A, B, C and D” and sent all 4 mixes to producer friends of mine which I trust as well as some music fans who did not know anything about music production. The goal was “A blindfold test” to determine which master was the best sounding.

I was not surprised when ALL of them returned to say “Mix D was the best”.

Since then I have sworn by Andy Marlow to do my mastering. Unlike others, Andy will always come back with comments and suggestions before he starts to master your work. Unlike many out there , Andy actually cares about his clients and he is a passionate professional.

I therefore cannot recommend him highly enough if you are serious about obtaining a stellar master every time!!

And as an added bonus, his rates are very reasonable!!
